APP membrane
With proper workmanship, the APP bitumen membrane is a very efficient and durable waterproofing material used in most constructions. It is a common waterproofing material used on concrete flat roofs (which are still roofs) or roofs with low pitch. Apart from concrete roofs and low pitched roofs, other areas of application are concrete gutters, basements and retaining walls.

Procedure of producing bitumen roof sheet
Depend on type of the bitumen sheet (single or twin later) tissue and polyester distributing to bitumen pad. Then it smears with blown bitumen. Thickness of the roll sheet distinguished by output nuzzles and in upper level of bitumen pad allocated.After that aluminium layer will smear to the material and then stick and transfer to water pool/after passing the waterpool during the rolling will become cool and laminate on back side then come to elevator.The elevator is supporting to reserve the roll sheet in length and by fin fan blowing to make the roll sheet keep dry.
For the Sealing of building material till 40 years before was traditional with asphalt and gunny and bitumen but after creation of roll sheet step by step replaced to old types.Todays most of the building starting from foundation and isolation to services and roofs preparing by bitumen roll sheet.
All isolation is supposed to prevent leak of water. It is powerful product that by heating of back side sticking to the surface.Shelf time of roll sheet is 10 years.
Technical details
APP bitumen membrane compound by itself does not possess any adhesive properties to directly adhere to any substrate. Similarly, self-adhesive compounds have “very poor” weathering characteristics, thereby undergoing premature degradation with exposure to the elements. Dual compound combines the best of an APP and a self-adhesive compound. The advantage of a “dual” compound is the ability to add a “true” roofing compound such as an APP modified bitumen on the top (weathering) surface and a self-adhesive compound on the bottom surface.
This invention specifically deals with applying a “dual compound” to the reinforcement carrier sheet—a compound based on Atactic Polypropylene (APP) or Amorphous Poly Alpha Olefin (APAO) or Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) on the top surface, and a separate heat-and-pressure-activated adhesive compound to the bottom surface of the reinforcement carrier sheet.
APP modified compound
APP bitumen membrane modified compound utilized on the top surface offers plastomeric characteristics to the bitumen and makes the membrane very hard and imparts improved flow resistance at high temperatures. A release liner, typically made of polypropylene, polyethylene or polyester, of thickness ranging from 40 to 80 microns, and treated with a silicone adhesive on one side (the side that comes in contact with compound), is applied to the self-adhesive compound to prevent sticking of adjacent sections of the roofing material and to the packaging when the finished membrane is stored and transported in the form of rolls.
The present invention involves roof coverings in the form of roofing membranes and shingles having a top layer of an APP modified bituminous compound, whose composition utilizes bitumen (asphalt), APP plastomeric modifiers and fillers, and a bottom layer of a self-adhesive compound, whose composition utilizes bitumen (asphalt), elastomeric modifiers, tackifying resins, and fillers. Please note that all percentages used herein are by weight.
